Financial support for students

Due to the collaboration of the organizing committee is in a position to offer a limited amount of fellowships to cover local expenses and registration for PhD and Master Student, and last year of students of mathematics in latin america.

Students interested in apply should send the following documents to Prof. Sergio Plaza:

  • A letter explaining the motivations to participate in the conference.
  • Two recommendation letters.
  • Deadline: 15 June 2009
  • Publication of results: 30 June 2009

Professors and students of chilean universities that are supporting the event, and for some reason could not pay the registration fee, they can ask for a fellowship to attend the diferent activities of the event.

PUBLICATIONS OF RESULTS

THE FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR STUDENTS INCLUDES:

  • welcome cocktail
  • Accomodation from the night of Sunday, August 30th till the night of Friday September 4th. This is on shared rooms in the Hostelling International de Santiago.

  • The accomodation includes breakfast and we recommend you to bring towels and personal care items
  • Lunch and Dinner at the conference place.
  • Congress material: the information of talks and abstracts in digital form, pen, block and a folder.
  • Card for transportation (Bip Card)
