Prize
The UMALCA Prize was created in the year 2000 to distinguish the most brilliant young mathematicians working in Latin America, as well as stimulate and acknowledge their contributions to Mathematics.
Any mathematician working permanently in a Latin American country and less than 45 years old at the first day of the Congress can be nominated. Instructions for the nominations will be provided shortly.
The decision on the UMALCA Prize is the responsability of the Scientific Committee of the Congress.
